Confirmation
As your pastor, I have one responsibility and that is to tell the
“Good News” of Jesus Christ through the offering of “Word and
Sacrament”.
As confirmation students, you will, through the work of the Holy
Spirit, be drawn into a closer relationship with our Savior Jesus
Christ. Confirmation is not a prison term, nor is it punishment. It
is your opportunity to
Glorify God, Serve Others and Imitate Jesus.
During confirmation you will be exposed to the Holy Scriptures and
the Six Chief Parts of the Lutheran Faith. As you study, you will
find that God has blessed you with many gifts and that you, too, can
use these gifts to begin to serve others in ministry.
As parents, your responsibility is to help your student come to
their confirmation prepared to take an active role in our
congregation and community. But first, last and always, we will keep
our eyes fixed on the Author and Perfector of our Faith, Jesus
Christ.
Below you will find the schedules for both confirmation classes.
Let's have a great year together in the Lord.
